This first demilune is the typical and my favorite shabby chic style.  It's done in Annie Sloan's Old White Chalk Paint which is the perfect color.  It goes with anything and the piece itself can fit in just about anywhere and in any room.  Although I typically use clear and dark wax, this time I just used the clear.  This has been distressed which really shows off the detail on this piece.

The other demilune is so sweet and as above, will fit in anywhere.  It's a custom mixed color using Annie Sloan's Henrietta and a bit of Emile (both in the purple family cuz y'all ought to know by now, I LOVE purple).  The stenciling is done in Old White and these colors and stencils were used both on the demilune as well as an upcycled cabinet door frame made into a chalkboard.  How cool is that to have a matching set?  They were finished with clear wax.

Be sure to click on each pic to see it full size!  The before of each demilune is at the bottom.
