I did take a "before" pic of the wood bedside step stool, kind of.  I had already painted the underside.  Then after I completed it, I took it on up the my booth and the next day realized I hadn't gotten any "after" pics.  So went there today and took some.  It was painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey Chalk Paint, with Old White on the edges.  The hand rubbed finish is a mix of clear and dark wax.

This is the before, and yes I'm working in the kitchen/studio.

This is the after! Love the sheen of the hand rubbed wax finish.

I think this would be great beside a tall bed, or even used as a plant stand.

Love the Old White on the edge and worn to show the grey and wood beneath.

Look at that sheen!
