Boy it was hot, and was gone 5 hours and only found 5 pieces.  :(  But that's better than nothin'.  One town was having a city wide yard sale, but it wasn't that great.  Not for finding furniture anyway.  The good thing about looking for furniture is that often you can tell by just driving by if they even have furniture.  That way you don't need to bother getting out or finding a parking place! ;)

So after you look at the new stuff, please check out the last picture at the bottom and give me some advice, ideas, input, miracle cure, whatever it takes!  :)

I don't know why, but I love wall shelves. I can just see the potential to make it all purdy and everything.

Now this is where I could use some help!  I love this chippy ole' rocking chair, and have had it for awhile.  My dilemma is that I'm not sure what to do with it.  The paint continues to flake off fairly easy. Must have been white then painted black, and the wood that is exposed has weathered into a wonderful gray! But when it was in the house, it chipped all over the place!  The wood is in good shape and solid and the chair is sturdy and not loose at all.  Just the paint doesn't want to stay put, lol!

Love how this turned out!

Adorable end table/bookshelf done in Annie Sloan's Old White, with clear wax and just a tad of dark wax.

Started tomorrows project. Cute little corner cabinet. So far, used Annie's Primer Red Chalk Paint. Stay tuned. ;)

Took a few days off, now it's time to start up again.  I've got plenty to choose from, so that's not a problem.

I've got some work aprons on order from a sweet friend of mine, and I can't wait to get them!  That way I won't have to live in my scumbag clothes.  I can dress as I would normally and just throw on an apron and paint!  I gotta have an apron, cuz it's an long habit I have that when paint gets on my fingers, I automatically wipe it off on my clothes.  It's not likely to change so I have to deal with it.  Doesn't matter if I'm painting walls, woodwork, or furniture, it just happens!

Stay tuned, will post pics as I get more things painted!  Then off they go to my booth.

This gorgeous bedside table was painted with Annie Sloan's Old White and trimmed in Louis Blue Chalk Paint.  The smooth satin finish is hand rubbed and buffed wax.  I used Annie Sloan's clear and dark wax to enhance the simplistic beauty.

Love how this turned out!

He thinks this is the best, loves the colors and the way the wax stain enhances this awesome little bedside table.  The close up pics really show it off well.  I guess I'm a little smitten with it as well.  ;)

The booth is located inside Main Street Treasure's, 1103 N. Mains St. Williamstown KY.  I'm along the back wall.  This place is an older building and waaaay back in the day used to be a roller rink!  There is no air conditioning in the building so it's a wee bit warm these days.  Ok, it's really hot!  I'm just being upfront.  I feel like I'm off to a good start.  I like this location and it's super handy for me.  There are some really drool worthy antiques elsewhere at this location too.  If you're local, you need to come check this place out!

I know it looks like lean pickin's at my booth, and it's true.  That's because I only decided last week to actually move forward with my dream, rather than continue talking about it.  I've been collecting furniture pieces since spring and have been talking it up, but that was about it.  Then I discovered this place, was soon to  reopened under knew management.  It looked very promising.  I was excited, but still didn't set a specific date.  Then when I found out their opening day was July 23, I knew I had to act.  This date will always be special to my heart because it is my son Patrick's birthday.  He would have been 29 today.  It's been a year and a half now, and our family misses him bunches.  So in honor of "PAT", I took the plunge and quit procrastinating!.

Yup, this is the whole booth, stark as it is. But hey, gotta start somewhere! It was a spur of the moment decision to start so soon so had very little time to get ready. Eight pieces in less than a week, not bad!! I have over sixty pieces at home, begging to be painted. Seriously, begging! They call out to me, paint me! ;)

The back wall including me. I'm wearing my stunning paint clothes and ugly but oh so comfy crocs. Yeah, this is my "real" look.
